RFC Archive

WARNING! This index migth be out of date, but never the less usefull. Updates are event driven so don't expect too much. I do aim in building it up to a more usable index.

On the booring statistics we now bring you (automagically) statistics and facts about this site. Currently it contains 1752 linked RFCs and 1354 RFCs remains to be (manually) sorted, totally is 3115 RFCs available. There is 70 RFCs known to be not issued, some of these have a small file to tell the story but 65 of them don't. There is currently a lack of 72 RFCs online of which 3 seems to never be issued. Last RFC being sorted is RFC 2279. The obvious lack of RFCs is due to holes in the RFC number list but mainly due to RFC Editor still lacks a lot of pre 800 RFCs in machine readable format. Please help them out on typing them in!

Some parts is still untidy and the HTML strictness isn't up to the aimed level. Work is of course under variously slow progress to improve the overall state. Cheerfull comments is known to speed this work up.
